ATOMIC Authoring Tool is a tool for creating augmented reality applications developed especially for non-programmers.
Was created as a graphical interface for using the ARToolKit library without having to program. Is written in the programming language Processing.
The main motivation of ATOMIC is to provide the community an open source tool that can be modified easily and does not require too much technical knowledge to access the technology of augmented reality.
The first experimental version was developed on 7 September 2008 and the first stable version 0.6 was developed on 6 March 2009.
